Key system components.
Manifold. The central hub of the system, distributing heated water evenly to each circuit while allowing balancing, isolation and efficient system control.
Mixing pump set. Regulates water temperature and flow, ensuring underfloor heating operates safely and efficiently alongside existing heating systems.
Thermostat. Controls temperature accurately by zone, improving comfort, efficiency and responsiveness while reducing unnecessary energy consumption.
Manifold cabinet. White enamel lacquered cabinets designed to house manifolds neatly, blending discreetly into interiors while providing easy access for maintenance.

Commissioning, filling and flushing of UFH systems.
Certus is able to carry out full filling, flushing, pressure testing, balancing and commissioning of UFH systems in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and current industry standards.
- Fill all underfloor heating circuits with water and vent air
- Flush each circuit individually to remove debris and air pockets
- Pressure test the system to check integrity and find leaks
- Add suitable chemical inhibitors or biocide solutions where specified
- Balance manifold flow rates to achieve even heat distribution across zones
- Check the operation of pumps actuators blending valves and controls
- Set system temperatures and verify operation of all heating zones
- Record commissioning results and provide full documentation upon completion
